Community Guidelines

At Lunar Reflections, we’re committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and judgement-free space for all women. We ask that all members follow these guidelines help ensure that everyone feels respected, supported, and free to show up exactly as they are.

By attending a Lunar Reflections event or engaging with our online spaces, you agree to honour the following shared values:

1. Kindness & Respect

All women are welcome here — regardless of age, background, beliefs, life experience or identity. We ask everyone to treat one another with kindness, patience and compassion. We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying, or exclusion of any kind.

2. Confidentiality

What’s shared in the group, stays in the group. Please do not share anyone’s words, stories, or personal experiences outside of the space — even with good intentions. This helps us build trust and emotional safety for all.

3. Take Part at Your Own Pace

There is no pressure to speak, share, or participate in any activity. You are always free to listen quietly, pass on sharing, or step out if needed. Everything is optional — you know what feels right for you.

4. Listening Without Fixing

This is a space to listen, not advise. We hold space for each other without jumping in to fix, analyse or give solutions — unless someone specifically asks for advice. Sometimes, simply being heard is enough.

5. This Is Not Therapy

Lunar Reflections is a peer-led space for reflection and connection, not a therapeutic or clinical service. While sessions may feel supportive, they are not a replacement for professional mental health support. If you’re struggling with your wellbeing, we encourage you to reach out to a qualified therapist or support service. We’re happy to signpost where we can.

6. Emotional Safety

We aim to create an environment where everyone feels grounded and secure. Please be mindful of the tone and intensity of what you share, and check in with yourself and others throughout. You are always encouraged to take a break, step outside, or reach out if something feels overwhelming.

7. Online & In-Person Conduct

Whether you’re attending a session or interacting in our online group, the same care and respect applies. Treat our online spaces with the same trust, sensitivity and boundaries you would in-person.

8. Accessibility & Support Needs

We do our best to make Lunar Reflections accessible and inclusive for all. If you have any physical, emotional, sensory or neurodiverse needs, please let us know — we’re always happy to adjust where we can, and we welcome everyone to participate in a way that feels safe and manageable for them.

9. Safety

If you feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unsure about someone’s behaviour at anytime, please speak to the facilitator privately.

10. We're In This Together

This is a shared space, not run from a distance. We encourage feedback, ideas and check-ins. If you have a concern, suggestion, or simply want to connect — please don’t hesitate to reach out.
